A depiction of a scene from a book called 'Gardens of the Moon' by Steven Erikson. The blue man on the right is a mage called Anomander Rake, and is looking down on the city of Pale (read the book) and the macician Tayschrenn, who is throwing waves of power up at him. Pen and ink background, felt-pen renderings.

This is awesome! The amount of detail here is incredible and Rake looks cool. But isn't his skin black and his hair white?

Dragnipur looks awesome.

Haha yes well, sheepish grin at hair and skin colour...it's just that the mood swept me up all of a sudden when I was reading this book, and the visual was crystal-clear (hehe maybe it was a coloured crystal). This was made in one sitting, and I guess also by the time I reached the colors, I was ready to finish this and get down to sleeping and eating :) How long? About 19 hours, continuous.

This is a great picture man. I know the colour aint correct but it looks awesome. I wish you'd done tayschrenn a little more justice but I think its awesome.

sidenote: Dragnipur kicks ass and the detail...Wow

That is absolutley amazing. I love the touches of blue in Anomander's skin and hair. And the background is wonderful too. There's so much to look it. It's great! :D
